DAILY DIET TIPS:*
1. HEALTHIEST RATE TO LOSE WEIGHT: Focus on losing one to two pounds per week. Slow and steady wins the race. Studies show that people who lose at a slower pace are more likely to keep off the weight. The National Institute of Health recommends dropping one to two pounds a week for safe, effective weight loss. Two pounds a week may not sound like much, but it adds up fast. Over a one-year period, that's 52 pounds.
2. SMALL STEPS TO SLIMVILLE: Set small goals. Rome wasn't built in a day and there's no way you're going to conquer your weight issues overnight. Have patience. Instead of concentrating on the bottom line, think in five or ten pound increments. You'll be less likely to get discouraged when you're in it for the long haul. As you ne achieve goal, reward yourself and keep track of the milestones you've already hit.

I'm alive! I'm beyond sorry for not posting for over a week. I've missed you girlies! Things have just been so busy lately with both kids in school, cleaning, visiting my friend that is recovering from her surgery, inlaws staying with us, etc. PHEW! I can breathe now! LOL
Weight wise, I am in my monthly cycle and weigh 122.8 lbs. Not so good. BUT at my highest I was a whopping 125.8 lbs.! Can you believe it? The pill is definitely increasing my appetite, but I'm determined to fight the OVEReating and to keep up with my fitness. I've been to the gym twice this week and plan on going again on Sunday. I want my teens back sooooo badly, because I just feel more comfortable there. 117 lbs. here I come, once again! LOL
My friend's surgery went smoothly, and it wasn't quite as bad as they expected. BUT she will be put on early menopause hormones, up until she would decide she would like to try to become pregnant. Even then, her chances would be 40%. Poor thing. She loves kids, and this is difficult for her. She's only 35. Please continue to pray for her recovery and her ongoing struggles.
I got the kids' halloween costumes yesterday! They are going to be so adorable! Here are pictures of them:
The inlaws are coming to stay with us starting today through Sunday, so it's cleaning galore time today. It never ends! UGH! Oh well, those are calories burned right? LOL
Here are today's makeup art pictures. ENJOY!!!*

DAILY BIBLE DEVOTION:*
John 16:33
'These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.'
Leo wanted to remember how tough it was. He'd lost the weight, but he never wanted to get back into the poor shape he'd recently been in. It would be way too easy to fall back into bad habits, thinking that the battle was won once for all time. It was nice to have succeeded. But Leo planned to make sure his success lasted a good, long time. It is nice to overcome obesity, but it is an ongoing battle. We should ally ourselves with the one true conqueror: Jesus Christ. With Christ's help, we can continue to triumph over our weight problems. He grants not only peace, but power to overcome any obstacle.
Today's thought: If we empty our plate, we won't lose our weight!
